Richmond Restaurant News: Park Cafe and New Fine Dining in Carytown

Botanical Restaurant, a new concept from one of the folks behind Kabana, Sonora, Nama and Switch restaurants — is in the works in Carytown at Jimmy John’s former spot.

  • The gourmet restaurant will offer craft cocktails and is expected to open in late September.

Heavy Duty Roasters opened Ironclad National Park at its Shockoe Bottom location.

  • The cafe acquired the small plot next to its cafe earlier this year and turned it into a community space for customers to sip coffee.

Three spots from Richmond — Redemption BBQ, ZZQ and Ronnie’s — were named among the 10 Best Places in Virginia for a BBQ.

Three-Notch RVA Collaborative House – Scott’s Addition Brewery – has expanded into two vacant storefronts to create a full-service restaurant, according to the Richmond Times-Dispatch.

Suzy Sno, the sno-ball concept of the owner of ruby spoonmoved from Jackson Ward to the former Sweet 95 space by Kitchen 64 and The Diamond, Richmond Magazine Reports.
