Fotografiska’s sumptuous gourmet restaurant Verōnika is making a comeback

Golden Eastern European restaurant Verōnika is restarting on June 16 after the pandemic closed the former Stephen Starr restaurant, according to a spokesperson. Located on the second floor of the Fotografiska Museum in Gramercy, the glitzy dining room will always lead the way with a European-leaning menu that ranges from salt-cooked beets and three types of schnitzel to spring vegetable tartare. A new entrance on East 22nd Street, with a velvet stairwell, leads to the dining room and Bar Verōnika, both of which are operated by CultureWorks, owners of NeueHouse and Fotografiska.
